This limited special bottling matured for a full 25 years and was released in an exclusive gift box in 2019. The whisky was bottled at an alcohol content of 43% vol. and comes from a combination of former Bourbon and Sherry casks, which gives it both depth and elegant balance. The long maturation brings Laphroaig's characteristic smokiness into harmonious balance with sweet, nutty, and fruity notes. As is customary with Laphroaig, the bottling is not chill-filtered to preserve its natural structure and texture.
