The history of the Hyde family began in 1640 when two brothers opened the "Tinker Cross" pub in West Cork, Ireland. Here, they served original Irish whiskey and stout, drawn directly from oak casks. After 10 generations, not much has changed – two brothers still care for traditional, finest Irish whiskeys. The only difference? Alan and Conor are the first generation to do all this without the family pub. The Hyde No.9 Port Cask 1906 Single Malt Irish Whiskey matures for 8 years and is made from Irish barley. This whiskey is triple distilled and matures in Bourbon casks. The finish takes place in Tawny Port casks.
