Description
Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has steadily evolved. After working their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionized grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.
Grappa is one of Italy's oldest and most traditional beverages, produced as a pomace brandy from the residue of pressed grapes. The Grappa Sandro embodies this artisanal process and, with its appearance, symbolizes the noble spirit at the moment of its creation. This grappa is distilled in traditional copper stills, using the bain-marie heating system to best preserve the original aromas and flavors of the grapes.
To achieve an exceptional result, Grappa Sandro matures for about 6 months in steel tanks before bottling, which further enhances its depth of flavor and elegance.
