Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating grapevines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has steadily evolved. After working their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionized grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Grappa is one of Italy's oldest and most traditional beverages, distilled from the pomace of previously pressed grapes. The Bottega Fiasco Grappa Chianti is made from the grapes used for Chianti from the hilly regions between Conegliano and Valdobbiadene, giving it its characteristic flavor and capturing the essence of these famous wine-growing areas.
