The 'Best Of' series from Dictador includes a selection from the best and oldest casks of Destileria Colombiana. The casks, carefully selected by Master Parra, are American oak, sherry, or port casks.

The back label of the Dictador BEST OF series may include the addition "Spirit Drink". This was a necessary addition in 2016 for customs reasons for sales in Colombia, where Destileria Colombiana is located. All Dictador BEST OFs are 100% pure rums.

In the past, the manufacturer Dictador commissioned different companies for the production of glass bottles. Due to varying glass thicknesses, a direct comparison might give the visual impression that some bottlings contain too low a fill volume. This is not the case; all bottles contain the stated content. "As informed by production team, in the past we used a different glass supplier and the bottle had much thinner bottom hence this visual effect in some of our bottles.
