On the wild and romantic coast of the Isle of Skye, south of Dunvegan, lies the picturesque, snow-white Talisker Distillery, founded in 1831 by two brothers. After their deaths, numerous successors tried to successfully continue the distillery, but all failed. It was not until a financial administrator and a wine and spirits merchant took over. After a devastating fire in 1960, the distillery was rebuilt true to the original.

Talisker Storm is created by maturing in oak casks of various ages, which gives it its distinctive, complex character. This special cask selection provides a stormy, powerful taste that impressively captures the wild and unpredictable climate of the Isle of Skye.
