The Antica Distilleria Domenico Sibona is located in the Roero region in the municipality of Piobesì d'Alba, a few kilometers from Alba.

What makes Grappa Sibona special is that it holds a unique distillation license, UTF No. 1.

Pomace from freshly picked grapes (primarily from the Moscato and Brachetto varieties), selected by Sibona during harvest, is used.

Distillation is carried out entirely in-house in copper pot stills, and maturation takes place for a long period in stainless steel tanks. This grappa is perfected by an initial 2-year aging period in medium-sized traditional oak barrels, followed by another 2 years in Sauternes casks.

Aging in Sauternes casks was pioneered by Sibona as an innovation and leads to high-quality results.
