The Deveron is a high-quality single malt whisky, produced at the renowned MacDuff Distillery in Aberdeenshire, Scotland. The distillery was founded in either 1960 or 1962 and sources the water needed for whisky production from the Gelly Spring, which contributes to the exceptional purity and quality of the final product. With an impressive annual production capacity of 2.8 million liters, MacDuff operates two wash stills and three spirit stills to ensure the high standards of whisky production.

Although the MacDuff Distillery is geographically located in the Highlands, it is often associated with the Speyside region, as it stylistically combines elements of both regions. This classification underscores the versatility and unique character of the whisky. Named after the River Deveron, which flows in close proximity to the distillery, this noble spirit matures for 10 years in carefully selected oak casks.
