Description
Bati WHITE CHOCOLATE Rum Liqueur is a rum liqueur from Fiji, made from high-quality, traditionally produced rum. It is crafted from hand-harvested sugar cane grown on the fertile volcanic soils of the Fiji Islands. The Bati brand takes its name from the traditional Fijian Bati warriors and combines this regional identity with the island nation’s rum production. After distillation, the rum used for the liqueur is aged for two years in oak barrels. This ageing phase lends the rum additional body and a subtle hint of wood before it is further processed into White Chocolate Rum Liqueur. With an alcohol content of 25 per cent, the 0.7-litre bottle is significantly milder than classic rum.
A distinctive feature of the production process is the subsequent filtration through activated charcoal made from coconut shells, which gives the previously matured rum a particularly light colour. The combination of two years’ ageing in oak casks, coconut shell filtration and white chocolate defines the characteristic style of this Fijian speciality. Notes of vanilla and oak complement the liqueur’s creamy profile. The Bati White Chocolate Rum Liqueur from Fiji thus offers an unusual alternative to classic rum liqueurs, combining the origin of the sugar cane with a meticulous production process. The combination of Fijian rum, white chocolate and vanilla makes this bottling particularly appealing to lovers of creamy, sweet spirits, as well as for use in desserts and drinks.
