The Appleton Estate Black River Casks 15 Years Old is made from molasses and ages for 15 years in oak barrels under a tropical climate in Jamaica. The high Caribbean temperatures ensure that the Jamaican rum interacts more intensely with the wood, allowing it to develop particularly complex aromas. During this long maturation, a harmonious combination of tropical fruit aromas, spicy notes, fine caramel and roasted aromas, and a characteristic depth emerges.
