Abasolo is the first Mexican whisky to be made exclusively from traditional maize, paying homage to Mexico’s rich culture and this flavourful ancient grain. This whisky is made exclusively from high-quality, non-genetically modified Cacahuazintle maize, grown by local farmers and part of Mexican tradition for centuries.

Through the traditional 4,000-year-old cooking process known as nixtamalisation, the maize is transformed into a unique whisky. It is then double-distilled in copper stills and matured in a blend of new and old oak casks. The aromas of roasted maize, honey, vanilla, camomile tea and leather lend this exceptional whisky a fascinating depth of flavour and complexity.
