Shaped by the unique climatic conditions of Nicaragua, this rum is produced at the traditional Compania Licorera de Nicaragua, which has been located in Managua since 1890. However, the production itself does not take place directly in Managua, but in Chichigalpa, in close proximity to the local sugar factory, approximately 120 kilometers away.

Named after the picturesque island of Zapatera in Lake Cocibolca, Zapatera Rum reflects the rich nature and culture of Nicaragua. Maturation in 200-liter American white oak casks not only gives it a profound array of aromas but also a balanced flavor structure, which connoisseurs particularly appreciate.
