The Kavalan Whisky is produced by the Kavalan Distillery in Yilan, where the subtropical climate promotes a particularly intense interaction between the distillate and the oak cask. For the SOLIST range, selected individual casks are bottled separately, ensuring that each edition retains its own distinctive cask characteristics. The whisky matures in an Oloroso sherry cask, which lends it its powerful, fruit-driven character, characterised by dark flavours. This bottling does not carry a classic age statement.#
