The Macallan M 2022 is one of the darkest bottlings from The Macallan. The bottle, designed in collaboration with Fabien Baron and Lalique, presents itself as an expressive decanter in the shape of a black crystal. Lalique, one of the leading companies in the crystal glass industry in France, and Fabien Baron, Creative Director of the Baron & Baron brand, contributed their expertise to the design.

As Macallan continuously develops its whiskies, this whisky was made deeper than most smoky Macallans previously produced. The distillates used for The Macallan are carefully selected by hand, and maturation takes place in ex-sherry casks chosen by the Macallan Master of Wood. Due to this special maturation, The Macallan M Black acquires its pleasant and natural aromas.
