According to legend, the thermal springs of Trencianske Teplice, a town in Slovakia, were once discovered by a shepherd searching for his lost sheep. This story is reflected in the gin's name and symbolized by the sheep's wool visible in the bottle design. The bottle shape also resembles a bell, further emphasizing the connection to Slovak tradition.

The gin matures in stoneware vessels, which gives it a special depth. Maceration then takes place without the addition of colorings or flavorings, preserving the natural taste. Only carefully selected berries are used for production, giving the gin its distinctive aroma.
