Patrón Tequila Silver is a premium blanco tequila from Jalisco, Mexico, made from 100 per cent blue Weber agave. The agaves are harvested by hand and then carefully processed, with cooking, crushing and mashing forming the basis for the rest of the production process. Following fermentation, the spirit undergoes double distillation in pot stills, which brings out the characteristic agave flavour. Unlike aged tequila varieties, Patrón Silver focuses on the agave’s original character. After distillation, the tequila is left to rest in stainless-steel tanks, allowing the distillate to harmonise without absorbing any flavours or colour from ageing in wooden casks. The clear tequila is then bottled with an alcohol content of 40 per cent.

Patrón is a brand that, alongside artisanal production methods, also implements measures to ensure a more efficient use of resources. A modern water treatment system is used in production, which recovers water from the manufacturing process and reuses it for operational purposes, amongst other things. Furthermore, Patrón utilises a natural gas pipeline as its main energy source to reduce the CO₂ emissions associated with production. Even the distinctive bottle is made from recycled glass.
