Description
The Benriach Distillery was founded in 1898 in the north of Speyside. The founder and whisky heir John Duff was an important milestone in the establishment of Benriach Whisky. The distillery is located on the site of the old Riach farm. The water is drawn from a mineral-rich aquifer deep beneath the distillery.
The casks are filled with three different types of spirit: classic, peated, or triple distilled.
This whisky belongs to Benriach's Cask Edition. All premium bottlings in this collection were created by Master Blender Dr. Rachel Barrie.
Maturation takes place for 27 years in Pedro Ximénez Puncheons.
The bottling is done without artificial colors and is non-chillfiltered.
