Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating grapevines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has steadily evolved. After cultivating their own land, Aldo Bottega revolutionized grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now located in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano, surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

The Prosecco sparkling wine from Bottega's Il Vino dei Poeti collection is sourced from selected vineyards in the province of Treviso. Made exclusively from Glera grapes, these are carefully hand-picked in mid-September and then gently vinified in white. The second fermentation takes place according to the traditional Charmat method in autoclaves at a controlled temperature of 14-15 °C, giving the Prosecco its fresh and lively character.
