The Tomintoul Distillery, idyllically located in the Scottish Highlands within the Cairngorms National Park, was named after the nearby village of Tomintoul. Since its founding in 1964, it has been an integral part of the region's whisky culture and is now part of Angus Dundee Distillers.

The "Tomintoul 12 Years Old Oloroso Sherry Casks Finish" is an outstanding example of the distillery's craftsmanship. This whisky matures for 12 years in oak casks before receiving an additional finish in Oloroso sherry casks, which imparts complex fruit and spice notes. This bottling is particularly noteworthy as it is neither colored nor chill-filtered, preserving the natural flavors and authenticity of the whisky.
