The fourth batch bottling from Bimber Distillery once again impresses with carefully selected ex-Bourbon Oak Casks.
Bourbon barrels are made from Quercus Alba, or white oak, also known as American oak. This type of wood complements the underlying character of the accessible, fruit-forward spirit, imparting sweet, rich vanilla and caramel notes, as well as perfectly balanced spice.
Each cask is specially selected and blended in Bimber Distillery's handcrafted oak vats before bottling.
This whisky was distilled from barley from a single farm, after it was malted on a malting floor at Warminster Malting. Distillation takes place in Bimber's custom-made stills. The casks used for the single malt date back to 2017 and are some of Bimber Distillery's oldest first-fill ex-Bourbon American Oak casks.
