The fourth batch release from the Bimber Distillery once again impresses with its carefully selected ex-bourbon oak casks.

Bourbon casks are made from Quercus alba, or white oak, which is also known as American oak. This type of wood complements the underlying character of this approachable, fruit-forward spirit, imparting sweet, rich vanilla and caramel aromas as well as a perfectly balanced spiciness.

Each cask is specially selected and blended in the Bimber Distillery’s handcrafted oak casks before being bottled.

This whisky was distilled from barley sourced from a single farm, after it had been malted on a malting floor at Warminster Malting. Distillation takes place in specially commissioned stills from Bimber. The casks used for this single malt date from 2017 and are amongst the oldest first-fill ex-bourbon American oak casks at the Bimber Distillery.
