The Knockdhu Distillery was founded in 1894 by John Morrison, after he acquired the Knock estate in 1892 and recognized the region's potential. The pure water sources on Knock Hill, the rich deposits of peat and barley, and the connection to the Great North of Scotland railway line made the location ideal for whisky distillation.

AnCnoc Sherry Cask Finish Peated Edition is created from a masterful combination of peated and unpeated spirit from the Knockdhu Distillery. After distillation, this Peated Edition first matures in American oak casks, where the whisky develops its complex base. For the finish, it is then transferred to selected sherry casks from Jerez, which give it its characteristic, delicate notes.

This careful cask selection and the harmonious combination of the two spirits result in a single malt characterized by impressive depth and complexity.
