The crowning glory of the Octomore 14 series is the Octomore 14.3, distilled with 100% Islay Barley. The barley used for this whisky comes from Octomore Farm, located just two miles away, giving the 14.3 a very special malty note.

Adam Hannett, the head distiller, chose an innovative combination of casks for the maturation of Octomore 14.3. He selected first-fill ex-American whiskey casks as well as second-fill wine casks, which give the whisky a special depth without overpowering it.

The Octomore 14.3 is not only a whisky from the Super Heavily Peated range but also a tribute to the unique conditions of the Islay region and the expertise of the distillery. It tells the story of the land, the people, and the craftsmanship that makes this whisky so exceptional.
