Description
The distilleries from Barbados (West Indies Rum Distillery), Mauritius (Saint Aubin Distillery) and Fiji (RUM Co. of Fiji Distillery) are the sources for this exceptional rum creation.
The raw materials come from molasses and sugarcane juice, which develop their unique aromas in a fermentation process lasting from 3 days to 3 weeks. Both pot and column stills are used for distillation to extract the best nuances of each distillation method. Plantation Sealander Rum is characterized by an ester content of 100 g/hL and a dosage of 20 g/L. The rum is aged for several years in the countries of origin, in 200-liter ex-bourbon barrels, where the rums develop their complexity and depth.
Finally, the finishing takes place at MAISON FERRAND, where the rums are refined for one year in specially crafted 350-liter FERRAND barrels.
