Since 1635, when Andrea Bottega began cultivating vines in the hills near Refrontolo, the Bottega family has continued to grow. After establishing their own estate, Aldo Bottega revolutionised grappa production by introducing the first single-varietal grappa. The Distilleria Bottega, which he founded in 1977, is now housed in a renovated 17th-century farmhouse situated in Bibano di Godega di Sant’Urbano and surrounded by 10 hectares of vineyards.

Bottega Alexander Exquisite Premium Grappa Riserva is produced exclusively from fresh, carefully selected pomace from the Verona region. Its exceptional smoothness and flavour result from a triple distillation in traditional copper alembics, using the bain-marie method to preserve the delicate aromas.

This grappa is aged for 18 months in handcrafted oak casks, the wood of which is left to dry outdoors for 24 months and then intensely toasted, giving the grappa its characteristic amber colour.
