This rum is produced at the Licorera Canuto Distillery, a family-run distillery in the Ecuadorian Andes. The high altitude, clear spring water, and climate at over 2,000 meters above sea level ensure particularly slow maturation and a distinct aromatic intensity.

Ron Canuto is distilled from pure sugar cane molasses and then aged for at least seven years in selected ex-Bourbon casks made of American white oak. This maturation gives it depth, structure, and a fine interplay of sweetness, spice, and fruitiness. With an alcohol content of 40% Vol., this rum is exceptionally well-balanced – ideal for pure enjoyment, but also as a high-quality base for noble cocktails.
