The Bobby's Gin Company, a Dutch distillery, presents the Schiedam Prang Raci Spice Blend Gin. This gin is a tribute to the two founders’ grandfather and is intended to commemorate a special family tradition.

Jacobus Alfons, affectionately known as ‘Bobby’, is said to have once enriched a genever – a juniper-based spirit – with a variety of spices, resulting in a unique ‘mishmash of spices’.

Bobby’s Schiedam PINANG RACI SPICE BLEND Gin was developed in collaboration with the distillery’s experienced master distiller, Herman Jansen.

The selection of spices reflects a wide range, from Indonesian specialities such as galangal, turmeric and daun salam – which evoke memories of the grandfather’s birthplace, Ambon – to classic gin botanicals such as juniper, coriander, ginger, lemongrass and cubeb pepper.
