Champagne Taittinger is a world-renowned champagne house that has been family-owned since 1734. This champagne house owns 260 hectares of vineyards. The house is located in Saint-Nicaise in Reims, where the champagnes mature in chalk cellars 18 meters underground. These cellars date back to Roman times.

The grapes are hand-picked at optimal ripeness and carefully whole-bunch pressed directly on site, then fermented in stainless steel tanks. The Rosé Champagne matures for four years in the cool, deep, dark chalk cellars on its fine lees. Through regular riddling and turning of the bottle (until it eventually stands on its head), the yeast deposit gradually slides into the bottleneck. This is followed by disgorgement to remove the yeast.
