Description
The Ben Nevis Distillery is located near Scotland's highest mountain. The water used to produce this whisky originates at an impressive 1,345 meters above sea level. This water undergoes natural filtration processes, flowing through peat, granite, and stone before being collected in a small lake called Coire Leis.
The Coire Leis series includes one of two long-awaited original bottlings from the Ben Nevis Distillery. Although "distillery bottlings" are occasionally available, they are rather rare to find in Europe.
The single malt of this whisky matured for 10 years in oak casks.
The Ben Nevis Distillery is proud to utilize the natural resources of its surroundings to produce a high-quality whisky.
