The SHINOBU Distillery, located in Niigata's coastal region of Japan, is surrounded by the "three white treasures" of snow, rice, and sake. Under the guidance of Master Blender Usami Ken, the SHINOBU Pure Malt Whiskies are created here.
The SHINOBU Pure Malt Whisky 10YO Lightly Peated matures for over a decade in sherry and bourbon hogshead casks before receiving a finishing in the noble Mizunara oak, known since the 1930s for its distinct aromas of apples, pears, cloves, and nutmeg. The light peat aromas enrich the SHINOBU 10YO with complex notes of seaweed and smoke.
All SHINOBU whiskies are unchillfiltered and free of colorants to preserve their natural complexity and depth.
