Andrew Symington, who founded the company in the late 1980s, always maintained close relationships with the distilleries and today owns an impressive warehouse with over 10,000 casks. This particular bottling belongs to the Signatory 100 Proof Edition, known for its high-proof, uncolored whiskies. However, this series not only offers whiskies with high alcohol content, but also long-aged, affordable bottlings.

The Bunnahabhain 11 Year Old is a special edition from Signatory Vintage, created in collaboration with the environmental organization Sea Shepherd. This single malt Scotch whisky from Islay was distilled in 2012 and bottled in 2024 from a single First Fill Sherry Butt, Cask #900791. The full maturation in a First Fill Sherry Butt contributes to the deep aromatic complexity and intense color, without masking the original character.
