Founded by visionaries Richard and Bernard d'Offay, Takamaka Rum is produced at the Trois-Frères Distillery, located in Plaine Saint-André on Mahé Island.

The Trois-Frères Distillery, situated in the Saint-André plain on Mahé Island, began producing its first Seychelles rums in 2002. These rums are named "Takamaka" after one of the island's 23 districts to which they belong.

It first undergoes maturation in French oak barrels, followed by special maturation in sherry casks that previously held Scottish Single Malt Whisky.

This unique heritage gives Takamaka Rum an aromatic palette of rare elegance, where the influences of the terroir harmonize subtly with maturation in Palo Cortado casks.
