This rum was distilled in 2015 in Lluidas Vale, Worthy Park, Jamaica, undergoing a quick fermentation of about 30 hours in American oak tanks, followed by pot-still distillation in a Forsyth still. After distillation was complete, the rum matured on-site in Jamaica for four years in ten first-fill Bourbon casks made of American white oak, before the distillate was brought to Scotland for another three years to achieve its perfection.

The result, a molasses rum in the "light" style, impresses with its delicate yet complex structure. No chill-filtration was used during bottling, and neither sugar nor caramel coloring was added.
