The Arachon T.FX.T 2020 is an iconic red wine from Burgenland, embodying the best of Austrian red wine artistry. As a collaborative project of three renowned winemakers, Manfred Tement (Southern Styria), F.X. Pichler (Wachau), and Günter Triebaumer (Rust), T.FX.T stands for uncompromising quality, precision, and style. The name Arachon is derived from the old name of the municipality of Horitschon – one of the historically most significant wine-growing areas for Blaufränkisch in Burgenland.

The refined 2020 vintage cuvée consists of 80% Blaufränkisch, 10% Zweigelt, 5% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The grapes come from vines thriving on mica schist, clay, and loess soils – a soil mix that lends the wine complexity, depth, and minerality. After careful hand-picking, the wine matures for 18 to 20 months in new 500-liter French oak barrels, developing its remarkable structure, balance, and aromatic diversity. It is then bottled with natural cork – a clear statement of quality and aging potential.

With 13.5% alcohol by volume, the Arachon T.FX.T is always powerful but never overpowering – a wine for discerning connoisseurs, with aging potential and depth.
