In the mid-1990s, Tibor Szemes, F. X. Pichler, and Manfred Tement joined forces to embark on an extraordinary project. Inspired by top French wines and driven by their shared passion for red wine, they envisioned creating an outstanding Austrian red wine that would combine their expertise with the best vineyards in Burgenland. Their goal was to produce a premium red wine of international class and make "red wine made in Austria" known worldwide. In 1998, after two years of aging, they presented the first Arachon T.FX.T of the 1996 vintage – a milestone for Austrian red wines.

Arachon T.FX.T from Burgenland is a sophisticated cuvée composed of 80% Blaufränkisch, 10% Zweigelt, 5% Merlot, and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon. The vines thrive on soils of mica schist, clay, and loess, which impart the wine with its characteristic depth and complexity. After harvesting, the wine matures for 18 to 20 months in new 500-liter barrels, developing remarkable structure and aromatic richness. It is then bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
