S.B.S stands for Single Barrel Selection, meaning that in this 1423 product line, only one barrel is bottled for each product. Each barrel is selected under strict criteria and offered in a limited number of bottles. The entire S.B.S range exclusively comprises classic rums, no blends, to emphasize the versatility of rums, as well as their unique quality and exquisite taste.

The 1423 S.B.S Dominican Republic Consuelo Single Origin Rum is distilled from pure sugar cane juice and matures using the traditional pot still method, which gives it its distinctive character. Distillation took place in 2023, and this white rum was already bottled in 2024.
