In the legendary ‘No. 1 Vault’, the ancient stone vault on the edge of Loch Indaal, the magical character of Islay and centuries-old traditions come together to create a single malt whisky with a complex balance, mild Islay smokiness, maritime minerality and a wealth of fresh stone fruit aromas.

This 15-year-old Bowmore Sherry Oak Cask is characterised by the maturation of slightly smoky single malts from the Islay distillery in hand-selected Oloroso sherry casks and ex-bourbon casks, followed by a final finishing in Oloroso sherry casks. The design of this bottling reflects the extraordinary and multi-layered nature of Bowmore’s flavour profile through its fluid lines. The traditional black colour of the packaging pays homage to the legendary Black Bowmore, distilled in 1964.
