Glen Scotia whisky originates from the historic Glen Scotia Distillery, founded in 1832, and renowned for almost 200 years for its fine Campbeltown single malts. The distillery, whose whiskies are prized for their proximity to the sea and the influence of the maritime environment, is located not far from the Isle of Islay and benefits from its unique coastal position. This special location imparts a characteristic style to Glen Scotia whiskies, reflecting the long tradition and distinctive quality of the Campbeltown region.

The second edition of the Glen Scotia Signature Series, a strictly limited single malt Scotch whisky, was developed by experienced Master Distiller Iain McAlister and reflects the special craftsmanship of the traditional distillery. After careful maturation in ex-bourbon casks, the whisky received an additional 12-month finish in first-fill Oloroso Hogsheads, which imparted a distinctive, intense depth.

The creation of this bottling was inspired by Campbeltown's classic, maritime style, skilfully combining a distinctive spice with a hint of sweet character. In a small batch of only 860 bottles, the Glen Scotia Signature Series Edition No.2 offers an authentic whisky experience, as chill filtration was deliberately omitted.
