For more than 150 years, this independent whisky company has been synonymous with the careful selection and maturation of Scottish single malt whiskies. Founded in 1868, the company is a family business that has been in the hands of the Morrison family from generation to generation – a name deeply intertwined with the heritage and tradition of whisky.

The Eastern Highlands in Scotland lie close to the famous Speyside whisky region, where the Ardmore Malt Distillery has been in operation since 1898. This is where the Ardmore 2013, a 10-year-old single malt, originates. However, it was matured and bottled in the Lowlands under the supervision of the independent bottler A.D. Rattray. Each year, the bottler selects just 6 to 8 individual casks, which are bottled at the perfect moment of their maturation. Part of the Cask Collection No. 74, this whisky was matured in a bourbon cask and was finally bottled at 58.8% ABV.
