The Hannes Reeh winery is located in the renowned Andau wine region, which is in the immediate vicinity of Lake Neusiedl. With 2400 hours of sunshine, Andau is one of the sunniest regions in Austria and offers ideal conditions for viticulture. Since 2007, Hannes Reeh himself has been responsible for the vinification of his wines. His tireless determination is evident in each of his wines, which reflect the unique character of the region.

The term "Unplugged" in music refers to playing without amplifiers – simple, pure, and authentic. For Hannes Reeh, however, "Unplugged" stands for wines that reflect the natural purity of the Andau region. In the production of these wines, artificial interventions such as added yeasts, enzymes, or fining agents are avoided. Particularly in vintages of exceptional quality, the wines are even bottled without filtration to preserve their pure nature.

The Zweigelt Unplugged matures for 11 months in wooden barrels and is made from Zweigelt grapes that thrive on nutrient-rich gravel soil. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks to preserve the freshness and purity of the aromas. After maturation, the wine is carefully bottled and sealed with a natural cork.
