Twenty years ago, Hans Schwarz founded the Schwarz winery on Lake Neusiedl, turning his passion for wine into a success story. Originally a butcher, he took the plunge to turn his hobby into a profession – a decision that quickly earned him recognition in the wine scene. Today, the winery is lovingly run by Hans himself together with his son Michael, who continue the family legacy with a spirit of innovation and experience.

Schwarz THE BUTCHER Blaufränkisch is a single-varietal Blaufränkisch that matures for 12 months in both large wooden barrels and small, used Burgundy barrels. This carefully coordinated aging process gives the wine a balanced character, deep aromas, and a harmonious structure. After maturation, the wine is carefully bottled and sealed with a screw cap, which optimally preserves freshness and quality.
