(Denominación de Origen Protegida) – a seal of origin that guarantees this mezcal meets legal standards and is produced exclusively from recognized agave species of the region.


The base is the rare Agave Durangensis, which grows in the highlands of Durango and takes many years to mature. After harvesting, the piñas (agave hearts) are cooked in earthen ovens over a wood fire, creating the characteristic smokiness. This is followed by traditional crushing methods, fermentation in open wooden vats, and double distillation in copper pot stills. Bottled at 45% Vol., the result is an authentic, unadulterated mezcal with great aromatic depth. Its extreme rarity makes it particularly special: this bottling is strictly limited to only 276 bottles worldwide, making it a true rarity for collectors and connoisseurs.
