The Antinori Guado al Tasso Bolgheri Superiore DOC 2022 is one of Italy’s most distinguished red wines and a true flagship of modern viticulture in Tuscany. This iconic wine comes from the renowned Tenuta Guado al Tasso estate in Bolgheri, in the heart of the Maremma on the Tuscan coast, where the interplay of sea breezes, a sunny microclimate and stony, well-drained soils creates ideal conditions for international grape varieties.

The blend typically consists of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and, occasionally, a small proportion of Petit Verdot. The 2022 vintage has produced a particularly elegant and profound wine with pronounced structure, complexity and ageing potential. The wine is aged for around 18 months in French barriques, which lends it additional depth, velvety tannins and a delicately spicy spectrum of aromas.
