The Kilchoman MACHIR BAY Cask Strength Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky Edition 2025 is the third limited bottling of the flagship product from the independent farm distillery Kilchoman Distillery, bottled at natural cask strength. Machir Bay is considered a benchmark for the classic Kilchoman house style, representing a maritime, smoky Islay character that confidently positions itself alongside the island's renowned names. For this edition, the single malt was predominantly composed of approximately six-year-old malts and matured mainly in ex-bourbon casks, supplemented by a smaller proportion of Oloroso sherry casks.


While the standard bottling is bottled at 46% Vol., this Cask Strength Edition 2025 comes in at a powerful 58.1% Vol. The bottling is non-chill filtered and free of artificial coloring, ensuring that all aromatic oils and esters are fully preserved. The cask composition provides depth and structure without overpowering the typical Kilchoman character. This limited edition is aimed at lovers of smoky Islay Single Malts who appreciate the unadulterated expression of cask strength, as well as curious connoisseurs who want to experience Machir Bay in its most intense form.
