For the Caskmakers, the finest ex-Spanish sherry casks and fresh charred European oak casks were meticulously disassembled stave by stave and elaborately reassembled. A portion of the whisky matured in these reconstructed casks, creating a unique combination of classic sherry character, spicy oak, and subtle smoke. This process imparts an impressive depth to the whisky and underscores Glenlivet's innovative spirit. Bottled at 40% Vol., it remains harmonious, well-rounded, and full of character.
