With their Icons of Wales series, the distillery honours important chapters of Welsh history – the Copperopolis refers to the rich copper past of the Swansea region, once known worldwide as "Copperopolis".


This Single Malt Welsh Whisky is produced using Penderyn's characteristic Faraday distillation process and matured initially in selected oak casks before receiving its finish in sweet red wine casks. This special secondary maturation gives it a complex aroma profile with a balance of fruity sweetness, fine wood, and spicy undertones. Bottled at 46% Vol., unfiltered and without colouring, this whisky presents itself in its natural depth and purity.
