The Clynelish 18 Years Old Waxen Sun is an exclusive bottling from the Special Releases 2025, presented under the theme Horizons Unbound. With an 18-year maturation period, it is the oldest single malt in this year's series and impressively embodies the elegance and distinctive character of the Highland distillery Clynelish.


For this extraordinary edition, the distillery experimented with different cut points – the crucial temperature ranges in which the master distiller separates the foreshots, heart, and feints. This precise craftsmanship requires experience, patience, and deep knowledge to shape the optimal character of the whisky. The result is a single malt with an incomparably sunny profile, marked by tropical notes emerging from the so-called Pineapple-Cut experiment. Its entire maturation took place in carefully selected refill casks, which perfectly showcase Clynelish's fruity, waxy style. It was bottled at cask strength with 51.6% Vol., giving it additional intensity and depth. It is delivered in a stylish gift box (GB), which emphasizes its limited collector's value.
