The Djokovic Syrah Selection 14.5% Vol. 0.75 L is an exceptional premium red wine from Serbia that showcases the Syrah grape variety in its most powerful yet elegant form. It comes from the strictly selected Selection line of Djokovic Wines, which stands for the highest quality, uncompromising craftsmanship, and authentic terroir expression from Šumadija. This wine is produced by Goran Djokovic, the uncle of world-famous tennis player Novak Djokovic. The grapes come from vineyards near Topola in Central Serbia, a region with Roman viticultural tradition, hilly terrains, diverse microclimates, and fertile mixed soils. The Djokovic Syrah Selection is made from 100% Syrah. Maceration fermentation takes place for three weeks at 25–32 °C without the addition of sulfites during fermentation, to preserve the natural purity of the grapes. After complete malolactic fermentation, the wine matures for one year in first-fill French oak barrels (1st fill only). This aging gives it structure, depth, and a complex interplay of fruit, spice, and wood. At 14.5% Vol., this Serbian top red wine presents itself as powerful, precise, and internationally appealing.
