Produced by the renowned family business Douglas Laing & Co., which has been known for hand-selected small-batch and single-cask bottlings since 1948, this special edition combines masterful craftsmanship, maritime depth, and exceptional cask maturation.

The 2025 Limited Edition is restricted to just 3,000 bottles worldwide and is bottled at cask strength at 52.9% ABV – non-chill filtered and with no added color, to preserve the whisky's natural character. What makes it special: The maturation took place in Orange Wine Casks from Jerez, Spain, which give the whisky an incomparable combination of fruitiness, spice, and elegance.

In the glass, The Gauldrons Eclipse presents a strong golden hue and a complex aromatic profile reminiscent of Campbeltown's wild coast. Notes of malt, dried apricots, orange peel, and toasted almonds characterize the nose. On the palate, walnuts, honey, ginger, and stone fruits appear, rounded off by the fresh, citrusy sophistication of the orange wine finish. The finish is long-lasting, warm, and spicy, with fine orange peel, nutty depth, and a hint of maritime smoke – a distinctive whisky of rare value.
