The Dellavalle Grappa Affinata in botti da Malvasia 2007 is a nobly aged vintage bottling from the Distilleria Roberto Dellavalle in Vigliano d'Asti, Piedmont. For this special edition, selected pomace is traditionally distilled in small copper pot stills to preserve the varietal clarity and finesse of the distillate. The grappa then matures in Malvasia casks that previously held the aromatic, sweet, fruity Malvasia wine. This aging gives the grappa a warm, fruity depth and the characteristic elegance of this Mediterranean grape variety. The combination of Piedmontese distillation art and the expressive cask profile makes the 2007 vintage grappa a special rarity. Presented in a high-quality wooden box, this bottling is one of the more exclusive cask-aged releases from Dellavalle.
