The Tement Sauvignon Blanc Ried Zieregg Kapelle Südsteiermark DAC 2022 13% Vol. 1.5 l is an outstanding single-vineyard wine of international stature, bearing the unmistakable signature of the renowned Tement winery. The Ried Zieregg Kapelle is considered one of the most famous single vineyards in Southern Styria and sits as a high plateau above the winery – a place where cool winds meet intense sunlight, producing grapes with exceptional aromatic density and mineral tension.


The grapes are exclusively hand-picked and come 100% from their own production. Vinification follows old traditions with spontaneous fermentation and then 30 months of aging on fine lees in small, used oak barrels. The soils of this vineyard consist of water-repellent, heavy clay and loam on coral limestone, which gives the wine its characteristic depth, salty minerality, and structure. With a storage potential of at least 25 years, this Sauvignon Blanc proves to be a long-lived, complex wine of rare precision. Sealed with a natural cork, decanting is highly recommended to unfold its full aromatics.
